Introduction

Welcome to my professional graduate portfolio for the MSET program.

This portfolio is a requirement for completion of the Master of Science in Educational Technology Program at Dakota State University.

  1. The Program Overview link describes what the MSET program entails and what objectives needs to be meet for completion.
  2. The Courses link gives a summary of my Plan of Study.  On the Courses page, I will describe each of the classes I have taken during my time in the program, and link to examples of work from each course.
  3. The Experience link gives a summary of my teaching career.  It is similar to a resume, but really more of a quick "snapshot" of my professional career and experiences.
  4. The Philosophy link gives an overview of my philosophy of teaching and learning.  This is the longest and most important page in my Portfolio.  The philosophy explained here is a summation of all that I have learned in the field of education.
  5. The Themes page will discuss three critical themes (Technology, Instructional Design, and Leadership) that I will take with me upon the completion of this program.

The color scheme for this portfolio has been specifically chosen as homage to the major learning institutions in my life and career.
The Red and White color scheme for the Header/Footer and Body was chosen to represent both my current employer (Chamberlain High School) and my Alma Mater (Chester High School).
The Blue and Yellow color scheme for the left menu bar was chosen to represent both my undergraduate degree (BS from South Dakota State University) and my graduate program (MSET from Dakota State University).
